Volunteer Project Leader Training is a 3-hour workshop that moves people from ideas into action and all participants are encouraged to lead 3 projects a year.
About Restore Austin The mission of Restore Austin is to catalyze a movement for the individual, collective, and social renewal of Austin. We hope to see this accomplished as seek to help educate the local church on issues of poverty, injustice, and local humanitarian need; mobilize the local church to partner with non-profit organizations who are already furthering the mission of mercy, compassion, and justice to humanity; and to become a voice for those who have lost theirs. We envision a movement of individuals, churches, and non-profit organizations as one collective force battling injustice, poverty, and ignorance. Restore Austin’s primary purpose is to connect the local church to local and global non-profits for the individual, collective and social renewal of Austin. We plan on doing this through three practical avenues: partnering churches and local non-profits together to serve our city; educating church congregations on the real social needs of our city and the globe; and creating monthly and quarterly service events to help expose people to a life outside of themselves.
